For undergraduate students

The Swedish Red Cross University

Our college concluded an agreement in terms of nursing education as well as research/ development with the Swedish Red Cross University in 2008, our 3 third year students visit the university every year. The purpose of this program is to understand the medical and nursing system with clinical practicum at Swedish Red Cross Hospital, a home for aged people of Swedish Red Cross and Karolinska Hospital. The program is for 5 weeks. Also, we accept 3 students from the Swedish Red Cross University College every year.

La Source, School of Nursing, University of Applied Sciences and Arr of Western Switzerland

Our college concluded an agreement in terms of nursing education as well as research/ development with Haute Ecole de la Santé La Source – Lausanne in 2014. The exchange program has started since 2015. Our 3 third year students visit the university from February for 3 weeks, also we accept 3 students from Haute Ecole de la Santé La Source every year.

University of Washington

This program is for students to learn English at the University of Washington. This university has its main campus in the northwestern U.S.A. city of Seattle, Washington, and is the largest on the West Coast. This program is a language program for 3weeks in our summer vacation in August & September. Participating students are expected to improve their English skills with experiencing different cultures by homestay.

Red Cross International Activities Practice in Switzerland

Students visit the birthplace of Red Cross, Switzerland. We expect students to understand of Red Cross Movement by visiting ICRC, IFRC, UNHCR, Switzerland Red Cross Society and Nursing course of Health department at Bern University. Also, they have opportunity to listen to a briefing about actual conditions of humane red cross activities.

International Nursing Practice in Thailand

We offer an opportunity for our students to learn about role of nursing with visiting The Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross College of Nursing at Bangkok as well as medical facilities in Thailand.

For Graduate Students

International Health Midwifery Practice in Cambodia

We offer international health midwifery practice at Cambodia every September for 2 weeks for graduate students to learn actual international midwifery activities. Purpose of this practice is to make challenges of Health Medical and Welfare of Cambodia as well as Nursing/ Midwifery activities clear, and challenges of students’ themselves clear with getting opportunities to observe various actual midwifery activities by visiting medical facilities, educational institute and midwifery, maternal health activities. Main visit sites are Cambodia Red Cross Society, JICA Cambodia Office as well as their project site, Comprehensive perinatal maternal and neonatal medical center, health center at urban and rural areas, home visits, TSMC and Orphanage etc.

International Disaster Nursing Practice in Bangladesh

This practice is for Certified Nurse Specialist course of Disaster Nursing. The purpose of this practice is for students to acquire ability of being CNS of Disaster Nursing with visiting spots of community disaster prevention health activities at disaster frequently affected areas in developing countries, and having conversation with victims as well as giving disaster prevention support activities. This practice is implemented at Maternal and Neonatal Health Centers in disaster frequently affected areas with Bangladesh Red Crescent Society for 2 weeks on September.
